From the Interim Superintendent
As the Interim Superintendent, I appreciate the opportunity the Board of Trustees has provided for me to work in the district until a permanent superintendent is hired. I treasure the time to work with the students, staff, and community of Woodsboro ISD.
As the district’s Interim Superintendent, I expect the best for our students and staff. As a district and community I believe we must set and maintain high standards and expectations for all involved in the academic and athletic setting. It is my goal that the students have an excellent education that prepares them to be productive citizens with a successful future. Your continued support for the WOODSBORO EAGLES of all ages is greatly appreciated.
I am a native of Corpus Christi, spending many years in and around South Texas schools. Over the past 40 years, I have served public schools as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, curriculum director, principal, classroom teacher, and educational consultant.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I hold lifetime Texas teaching, mid-management administrator, and superintendent certifications.
My philosophy of education is simple:
I believe all students can and will learn.
