Krista Dyer has been an educator and technology specialist for the past 20 years. Krista began her educational career teaching elementary special education in Farmersville, Texas. Krista’s educational career has consisted of teaching technology to seventh and eighth graders and coaching seventh grade volleyball at Mance Park Middle School in Huntsville, TX, being the elementary school counselor at Stewart Elementary in Huntsville, TX, working for the Grimes County Special Education Cooperative as an educational diagnostician, and working as the technology director for Ft. Elliott CISD. In December of 1995, Krista graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Education from Sam Houston State University. In December 2003, she completed her Master’s degree in Counseling at Prairie View A&M University. Krista has educational certifications in the areas of: superintendent, principal, educational diagnostician, counseling, special education and elementary education.
Krista enjoys creating technology videos and presentations to help teachers utilize technology in the classroom. Some of the videos include Kahoot, Google Maps, Scribble Maps, and Google Earth. Krista has also presented at the Texas Association of School Administrators/Texas Association of School Boards State Conference in September 2014.
Krista is currently serving the Woodsboro School District as the Technology/PEIMS Support. She began working for WISD on August 17, 2015. Krista is married to Jeff Dyer and together they have one son, Zack. Zack is an eighth grader at Woodsboro ISD. Zack is a sports lover just like his dad. Jeff Dyer is the Superintendent of Woodsboro ISD. The family loves to travel together and to watch Zack participate in sports.
